This is important because these pressure values indicate how much water the fire hydrant can pump out and how quickly. When facing a fire, the hydrant must be able to perform.

Obstructions.

Over time, the various pipes leading to and encased in a fire hydrant may become obstructed. This can happen from rocks, clogging agents, or anything else. In addition, if any levers (especially the opening valve) become jammed or obstructed in any way, the firefighters will not be able to access the fire hydrant in the amount of time they need.

Damage.

Damage to a fire hydrant can come in many shapes or sizes, including weather, vandalism, accidental damage, and wear and tear. Experts must also make sure that previous workers did not accidentally tamper with any valves and forget to fix it.
